Newly released research on Quebec's low-cost child-care system suggests children who go through it may do well academically, but have worse outcomes when it comes to health, life satisfaction and crime rates.

Hum, add to the fact I don't want to pay to raise other people's kids points to this not sounding like a very good program. I do not support the creation of another social program.

It's a large part of the Federal NDP platform as well.

Government-run daycare is not the answer! We're just cramming as many kids as legally can into semi-par centres run by highly underpaid people.
