Toronto airport security guard suspended for anti-Muslim comments

A security guard at Toronto's Pearson airport has been suspended pending an investigation after making offensive remarks to a Muslim cab driver that were captured in a cellphone video.

At some point, the person shooting the video is identified as a Muslim. The guard responds by saying, "I don't give a damn,"

Good, why would you, given the context?

and goes on to make offensive remarks about the Prophet Muhammad, a revered and holy figure to Muslims.

I'm guessing the security guard actually does give a damn if the cab driver is Muslim.

Probably the guard is a Sikh, or 2CDo was working that day. This is where it goes off the rails and the guard gives the driver a chance to be the victim. That guard will be fired and have a hard time finding work. The security company may also have trouble with the airport authority.

If this guard was Muslim and had spouted off about Jesus (something a devout Muslim would never do) the CKA braintrust would set their hair on fire.

No, I didn't miss it. Doesn't mean much to me either way. I mean fuck all the religious who think their way is the only way and try to force it on others. The would especially be the two offshoots of Judaism, for some perverse reason. If the Jews can refrain from pushing their religion on others, don't know what happened to Christianity and Islam. But I've met great people from both of those religions who follow their beliefs and are happy to allow others to follow theirs.

As for child-raping, seems to have been common practice at the time, and not just among Muslims.

Fixed for accuracy.

Although it's unlikely they would have spouted off about Jesus seeing as he's their second most important prophet.
