I can remember them fighting to stay alive during the advent of digital camera's so, to last this long only to be taken out by even newer technology is kind of sad.

They priced themselves out of business. Several times I went to Black's to buy camera peripherals, several times I went somewhere else after seeing their prices.

The last horse-drawn carriage maker to go out of business likely built a really good carriage. Sunset businesses, both of 'em.

Black's Photography. Cameras, accessories, photo printing, etc. It was a cool place a while back, but their prices and service became brutal. I'm surprised they lasted this long.
