Argentina will hold further debt talks with "holdout" investors in New York on Wednesday, a government source said, as talks to avoid a second default in little over a decade went down to the wire.

What they don't get into is that Argintina can pay the debt. The problem is that there is a clause in the deal that says they can't pay anyone else less than they pay these bondholders, so when other debts come due they would have to pay 100%. And they don;t have the money for that.

Lol, I think they are quite good there, already.

Not much Argentina can do against the Typhoon's, Type 45's, and Trafalgar's preventing them from landing forces on the islands.

I guess the President is bound and determined to outdo her only female predecessor when it comes to fucking up Argentina's economy.

She's gonna bankrupt the country much like Isabel Peron did but at least she hasn't organized wholesale disappearances......yet. I guess the whole Falklands rhetoric was more about taking the countries mind of it's economic woes than any real threat of invasion.

Get all the unemployed men to willingly die at the hands of the British = No more employed men. Brilliant.
