Violet Camsell-Blondin was driving N.W.T.s Highway 3 this week when she noticed something odd. In the midst of a burnt-out forest, a small roadside shrine was untouched. I said, this cant be. Holy smokes! I said.

People have left cigarettes and shotgun shells on the shrine. I guess someone took the phrase "Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition" a little too literally.

    Um...quite frankly...WOW!

I will be honest, before the link opened, I thought it would be a shrine among a large unburned area...that's just spooky.

Hey Bubba, the fire's coming, help me load the shrine in the truck, we'll bring it back when it's safe. 8)
