They didn't die TRYING to shoot each other. They shot each other. Mission accomplished!

And society comes out the clear winner with this one. Thinning out the herd? Not necessarily a bad thing.

Not necessarily, I don't recall the article saying that the fatal shots come from each others guns. They may indeed tried to shoot each other dead but accidentally shot themselves instead. One may have shot himself three times and the real incompetent one may have shot himself seven times! Might I suggest that CBC headlines should always be deemed correct.

All we can agree on is that the world is made a much richer place by their passing.

A definite win-win situation, it's too bad this kind of one on one activity isn't more prevalent within the criminal society, it would definitely have a positive effect when it comes to collateral damage.

Probably shooting at each other with the guns held sideways, totally missing the point as to why the fucking sights are on top of the weapon. Yo yo yo homie yo!

It'll definitely be a Daily Double win if it turns out neither of the skidmarks had the chance to breed before they shuffled off this now much-happier mortal coil.

The last Canadian duel saw no casualties... Both men had blanks in their guns.

A Canadian duel is two guys squaring off against each other and saying, "Oh, excuse me!" until one of them passes out from exhaustion.

And no children are killed by stray bullets.

Not such a bad way to be.
