Possibly. Egypt has to know what the political fall out will be. I'd submit it's more a gesture for internal politics than some external message.

They just didn't only get F16's. Egypt also got a US Tax Payer paid gift of M1A1 Abrams Tanks. Fall out or not Political or not, War clouds and sparks are brewing. POTUS had the executive kill authority and failed to execute and choose to breach US National security procedures to fulfill a contract to a known Terrorist nut job. I call it one Voter Fraud to another favor.

I'm sure Israel is just wishing that they could kill two birds with one stone...or missile.

This is a nice symbolic gesture but, until the Egyptian Army gives it's okay, I don't think our favorite mentally unstable homophobe is going to be making any arms deals or alliances with the Morsi and the Brotherhood, especially ones that may involve their Nuclear Neighbour.

So while it may be condemned by outside agencies as a threat to security in the middle east it really doesn't ammount to much more than one radical asshole visiting another radical asshole for a friendly political reach around in a vain effort to make each other look relevant.
