North Korea upset over Olympic flag mixup

London Olympic organizers mistakenly displayed the South Korean flag on a jumbo screen instead of North Korea's before a women's soccer match Wednesday, prompting the North Koreans to refuse to take the field for nearly an hour.

    While I agree that decorum dictates that one should use the correct flag the smart ass in me finds this as funny as hell.

    Anyone remember the little flag problem during the 82 World Series between the Jays and the Braves. Ooops the Maple Leaf was upside down.

    1982 was the Brewers and the Cardinals. 1992 was the Jays over Atlanta and I imagine the Canadians were tweaked about the flag thing and thus, they took it out on the Braves.

    Maybe you folks might get lucky and have the Brits do the same thing in London a few times. 8)
