What began as an early-morning deer hunt turned into an unnerving encounter with three timber wolves, a Saskatchewan farmer says.

    Not necessarily. This seems to be a bad year for them. They're thick around my dad's place as well, and are getting more brave and more aggressive. The rabbit population must be on the downswing again.

    That being said - I sure wouldn't mind a gorgeous rug. 8)

    No indication they would actually attack. Most likely they were just curious and got shot for their efforts.
