The Canadian Wheat Board has signed a deal that will see Prairie farmers export 500,000 tonnes of wheat to China -- double what recent sales have been.
So how did that go down, exactly... ...the Wheat Board secures the deal and Gerry Ritz heads over there for the photo op? All the while badmouthing and trying to dismantle the board at home? Is that how it went?
That's kind of how I'm picturing it going down.
We'll give them all of the No. 1, we'll keep the feed grade, and our bread'll go up a buck a loaf.
