    70 years old?

    Suffering from dementia maybe?

Don't often hear of senior citizens getting into gun battles with the police.

Wow. 70 years old and on his last nerve. Be interesting to hear what his reason is for the gunbattle with the police officer. And here's hoping that the cop turns out okay.

Yeah, or just an old asshole, who has been an asshole all his life and didnt want to go to jail for the rest of his life. Not all seniors have lived innocent lifes.

I hope the cop makes it.

I can't believe some of the anti cop comments that come up in some of the news forums, after something like this happens.

I'm betting most of those folk have probably found themselves on the wrong side of the law one too many times.

Not surprising that people who break the law dislike the police.

Yeah, and we've got at least two cop-hating dicksaws here on CKA who are probably just bursting waiting their turn to say something completely vile.

That's the problem with the Internet. The web gives access to people who, prior to it's invention, weren't even capable of writing out on toilet paper a death threat to their local newspaper editor. Now, just like the tin-hatters, the pricks are literally everywhere.

    My thoughts exactly.

How sad that someone so young, employed to protect innocent people from the assholes out there, should lose their life this way.

It is sad this man died........

It is also sad that people cannot distinguish between accountability and hate.......and try to pick fights because of it......flame on......
