New $135M overpass opens in PoCo

After 10 years of planning and construction, Port Coquitlam celebrated a new transportation network connecting the city's north and south sides on Saturday with the opening of the Coast Meridian Overpass.

Vancouver infrastructure is lagging behind. It's nice to see these kind of projects and improvements being made.

Now if they can only 3 lane all of hwy 1 from Surrey to WillyWack.

The Pat Bay Speedway on the Island could use some work too.

Interesting story, a strategic bridge. Here in Toronto they are building subways to the suburbs, which don't need them. They cost about $130 million a kilometer.
