Well he's right about one thing--it certainly provided the US with their "excuse" for the "war on terror." They used that as a platform to launch an invasion of and occupation of Iraq killing tens or hundreds of thousands of Iraqis--including women and children--and Iraq had bugger all to do with 9/11.

What's very funny about the 'truthers' is that they believe of an omnipotent conspiracy in the attacks of 9/11 manipulated by the US government to invade a sandy and mountainy no-man-land like Afghanistan. But, that same US government decides to invade a oil-rich country like Iraq, on the premises of finding WMD but, they are unable "find" any.

They can manipulate thousands of people to shut their mouth for 9 years and hide a very complicated conspiracy but they cannot plant some cannisters of anthrax or sarin ? come on !
