It's not so much a grudge match, both teams are very competative and want to win for their countries. Next week they can all be having a beer together.

There might be more of a grudge match in 4 years between the Russian and Canadian hockey team. The Russians feel they own anything done on ice. There are certain sports where one team from one country feel they got screwed out of a medal.

I think it will be a very hard fought game with the Canadians winning.

Look what happened after the Canucks lost the 7th game of the Stanley Cup finals to the New York Rangers back in '94.....and that game was in New York.....

Smith-Valade said demand was so high for tickets to the gold-medal game, even before the tournament began, that organizers could have sold out Canada Hockey Place 18 times over.

"We were happily surprised by the interest and are not surprised by the interest now in the last-minute tickets," she told reporters Saturday.

Did she just say what I think she said? That they were surprised that Canadians wanted to watch the gold medal hockey game?
