Niklas Hagman tipped home a power-play goal with 6:26 to play to break open a scoreless game as Finland beat the Czech Republic 2-0 Wednesday night in the quarter-finals of the men's Olympic hockey tournament.

It's too bad the Finns and Americans go first, because if (OK when) the Canadians beat the Slovaks I want to cheer for the Americans, because I want a rematch in the final.

(If the impossible happens and Canada loses against the Slovaks, I would have liked to have cheered for Finland.)
