Securing the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games is a daunting assignment, one that the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, supported by the Canadian Forces and other security partners, have been working towards for years.

its funny the olympics start in a week or so yet no one is really talking about them even though there in canada this time . the lack of buzz about them in ontario is rather odd i find .

Thats because its really the Vancouver games. I cant say it is talk of the town here. It only comes up when there is something that needs to be repaired or paid for by the BC government. Because we all know, THAT is not going to happen for the next 50 years.

I wonder if the CF will have a few Griffon 'gunships' standing by in the Vancouver area...

Is that our official Olympic medal strategy then, intimidate the other athletes? :P
