Their dispute over the ownership of tiny Hans Island has cooled in recent years, but conflict between Canada and Denmark is heating up over another diminutive object of contention: the northern shrimp.

Invade Denmark and import all their women to Canada.

Good, the Newfies have been complaining about the Danish and Faroe Island fish/shrimp poachers for years.

Time we sent the fish-heads up to do a bit of catch checking. Where's Brian Tobin when you need him?

Canada ought to park an aircraft carrier off the Danish coast to send them a message...

Is there enough room in the Baltic? Plus we don't have a carrier!

Denmark has a coast on the North Sea and, you are correct, Canada does not have an aircraft carrier. There's something that might be nice to rectify.

Of course, if the US would let it go, you could take the USS New Jersey for a spin. I must say, there's a certain kind of intimidation factor that only comes with a battleship.

I was in Cyprus when either the Missouri or the New Jersey were using their 16 inch guns to give supporting fire to the USMC in Beruit. It looked like lightning at night.

Yes, a battleship cannot be mistaken for a freighter and it is defiantly
is an "in your face" response.

Lets airdrop troops onto the disko, crozier, franklin and hans islands. Secure these worthless islands and let them know we mean business

We do have the Royal Newfoundland Regiment though! That would scare those relics of the Vikings....
