Canadian-designed hijab lets girls play sports safely

Great. Why don't you just be free? Allah made you. Allah didn't make you wear hijabs. Men did.

Family and community pressure.

Free country.

It's like womewn saying as a sign of respect for being inferior I am going to wear this hijab as my subservience.

I don't credit France with a lot but I think their ban on wearing these silly things and other religios wear has it's point.

That's great news for unhappy muslim girls.

Lord Tunderin' Jesus, bi! "Why don't you just be free?" This is Canada mate and not many are as FREE as you think these ladies should be, including you in that wee uniform. Hell, I'm betting you'd say no to your daughter if'n she was fixed on going to the Mic Mac Mall on Saturday topless. Free, indeed!

While it's nice that their trying to find a compromize, all their work is still based on tyranical religious rules.

It's also a matter of comfort for these girls. If they are taught from day one to cover your head and you grow up covered your entire life you feel naked and exposed when you wear our style of clothes.

Still I HATE the ideas behind the hijab. It's oppression of women at it's lowest!

Well they have to wear them or they will end up in the pool or the locks like the ones they offed in Kingston Ontario

So without a hijab, women couldn't play sports safely?

It's not the hijab's fault that the men are bastards

I would imagine that requiring women accustomed to a hijab to hijab-less would elicit the same response as requiring western women to go topless.
