I'm just wondering if there is a Canadian versions of Sarah Palin, ie, a twit that somehow leaped onto the political stage and somehow has managing to stay there and that some people actally listen to as if she had a brain; or is is this purely an American phenomina?

So what have the Liberals done for the environment? Liberals were in power for years with a majority and their climate control accomplishment was, Dion named his dog Kyoto. If Harper took the bus to work for one week it would equate to more than the Liberals did in 12 years.

Poor Sarah, I feel sorry for her. You get into the game of Politics and it's a hard one. Lots and lots of curve balls!! Her heart is in the right place, but she's listening to idiot advisors. So much prudential that may have been lost.

Really the old man at the helm, Mr Al Gore should not been flyin... Liberals put up a good talk, and that's about it. Then bring in policys that cost tax payers jobs..More harm than good has come from groups on the envirnoment.

In other words, Iggy has a new tax waiting in the wings for us. We produce about 2% of the total carbon emmisions and Iggy wants to do business with India, who is currently one of the biggest carbon polluters on the planet.

And ummm how to you export intellectualism? How do you sell that to other countries?

Who cares about how much carbon we produce. We can't even be 100% certain that is the cause of the so called global warming.

This to me just proves iggy and the liberals have yet to figure out what most of the rest of us have.

No one gives a crap about climate change if they have done any research that easily has about 200 theories but not one fact as to what climate change is and why it's happening.

Iggy reminds me of what I hated about the liberal party the most. They can never under any circumstance approve a good idea from any other party but the NDP. Face it Iggy Harper has been doing good on the green front without taxing us up the rear.

Ignatieff was quoted in the newspaper as saying the environment will be a Liberal focus in any eventual election. So the environment. He's trying to generate a little attention to this. People vote for the environment in polls, not at election time.

    good point Bruce.

its easy to vote for envirement, its difficult to vote for politicians that create taxes based on envirement.
