Former actress Mackenzie Phillips has made a shocking revelation prior to the release of her new memoir, announcing that she had a sustained incestuous relationship with her famed musician father, John Phillips.

After getting high together, Phillips says she later awoke and discovered her father raping her. A sexual relationship that she called "consensual" continued for about a decade after, she said.

Helluva way to start a "consensual relationship". I wonder if Ms Phillips, long a has-been, wants to generate some publicity.

Wow. If she wanted more publicity, she should have implicated Chyna Phillips too and said that Hold On was about incest.

This is just oh so wrong, what's wrong with people? Drugs are no excuse, maybe their parents were cousins for many generations, now that would be a jumbled family tree.

Is this true, or a publicity stunt? Both are disgusting, though I truly have no idea who this person is, let alone if they're saying the truth (funny, I usually am disgusted by shit people do, but...actresses aren't very...truthful...then again, musicians are usually full of shit too)

OMG

Why, why, why would go public about something like this? A consensual relationship with your rapist father? WTF is that? Great, now she'll yap on Oprah and we'll all get to hear even more details, as though anyone needs to hear anymore than this.
