I'm sure this comes as no surprise to those of us in Western Canada, easy commute from Calgary to BC and the drugs flow. How about finding ways to deport the foreign gang members and lock up the local ones and keep them in jail/out of ther country instead of reporting on what we already know.

BBC latest to pick up on Vancouver's gang violence problem

They are looking is find warts in Vancouver and gangs are great for headlines in the UK. That highlight of gangs there has made the topic a media sensation. Lots of noise and not a lot of action.

Dan Rather did that big 60 min. report on the downtown east side drug addcition problem also.
Obviously, lying to ourselves and telling us how "progressive" we all are just isn't working.

Nor, as I've heard, has Harper's policy. Instead BC bud is selling in the US at at least twice the cost than six months ago. Double the profits in any industry and the industry grows exponentially.

Add that to your list of what Harpers done Riden.

Not seeing those illegal profits going to the food banks or charities though. I used to be involved with the BC toy run and it was pretty obvious who was the gang members and who was the regular joe by the donations. The regular folks took it serious and donated but the crooks acted like it was all a big joke and they were too important or entitled to give money to charities.
