Harper wants a more democratic Senate, yet the two Senators 'elected' in Alberta were not appointed?

    Fail.

    Why?

Mr. Harper has always believed senators should be elected and he refrained from filling most vacancies while trying to make the upper chamber more democratic. Those efforts ran into roadblocks erected in Parliament and by Ontario and Quebec.

What would you like him to do?

    Why?

Looks to me like he's jumping in the sack with a separatist right after having denounced the Liberals and NDP for doing the same thing.

And pandering to separatists was characteristic of Mulroney.

I notice you forgot the rest of it. What would you have him do?
