Tooryalai Wesa, who fled Afghanistan in 1991 and settled in Coquitlam, B.C., assumed his new post during a ceremony in Kandahar City.

He'll find out real quick.

I'm worried about the implications of having someone who has been out of country for 17 years as governnor in one of the provinces' especially a Canadian in the province we are working in.
