Mermaids, which supports children who believe they were born in the wrong body, said the teacher had committed a �hate crime� because he did not address the child using his new gender.

    So this is what our society has come to, calling it a HATE crime when someone refuses to address a so-called transgender child by the kids preferred gender. A hate crime yet. What a sorry state of affairs.
