The Trudeau government has finally admitted that even if it implements every one of its current climate change polices, costing Canadians tens of billions of dollars, it will still fall far short of its greenhouse gas reduction targets for 2020 and 2030.

Well we all know taxing Canadians to heat their homes will lower CO2 emissions. Brain dead liberal.

I enjoy how that's filed under News instead of opinion. Journalism is in fucking free fall.

    Editorials shouldn't be under 'news'.

The Sun has it set up as opinion, but the Deplorables on CKA have a long track record of posting editorials and opinions in the news section. I think they just have a hard time separating fact from opinion in general.

As for the OP, it says the goal was 517 Mt reduction so falling short by 66Mt doesnt seem that bad...thats better than 87%.

Here's some real news. A recently published study shows:

-- fake news is mostly consumed by conservatives (specifically Republicans over 60) and has a pro-Trump bias
-- the biggest fake news distributor is Facebook
-- fact-checks of fake news almost never reach consumers
