I'm glad I'm in California right now - although it's snowing outside right now and we're supposed to hit -6C tonight.

The other day, I was joking around about the cold on some other thread.

Joking aside, it is a bit too nippy out there in the West.

"With much of Western Canada in a deep freeze, Lethbridge reached a record low of -34.4 C about 6 a.m. Monday, according to Environment Canada. That beats the old record of -32.8 set on the same date in 1964.
As cold as it got in Lethbridge, it was still colder in other areas of the province, where several more records were set. Claresholm recorded a -35.9 early Monday, breaking the old record of -32.2 set on the same date in 1964. Waterton’s temperature dipped to -35.1 compared to the old record of -27 set in 1979, and the temperature in Medicine Hat dropped to -36.1, down 2.2 degrees from the old record set in 1964.
The winner, however, is Banff, which recorded a temperature of -41.8, making it the coldest location among Canada’s provinces."

-41.8 8O yup sounds like Global Warming.

all these records are significantly below the previous ones....
