McKenna and the Lieberals need to get a grip. The US has no interest in climate change, native issues or any of the other nonsense this government is throwing into the mix. Were the US just to laugh at these idiots, I'd probably applaud them.

Mowich Mowich:
McKenna

Oh, I thought they were talking about Frank.

$1:
University of Lethbridge politics professor Chris Kukucha thinks that hill will prove too steep for Canada to climb and will have to be abandoned.

"They will try, they'll bring it up because that's the government's mandate," he said. "At the end of the day I think the people sitting at the table know that's a non-starter, it's not going to be there," he said. "Not with that administration in the United States."

Hooray that means the Lieberals are going to bring home gender neutral pronouns
in all future NAFTA discussions.

What a win for us !!! [cheer]

The clock is ticking for the science-fiction peddlers. They can "fool" the old folks but the younger generation aint buying it.

So let's see....

Trump wanted NAFTA to be a better trade deal. But he really just wanted to kill it.

Canada wants NAFTA to be a better climate change statement all while knowing that Trump isn't going to spend dollar one on that nonsense.

Mexico wants the US and Canada to include an open border agreement in NAFTA knowing full well that the US and Canada won't go for it.

So Mexico and Canada are providing Trump with every justification to simply cancel the trade deal.

Which is what he wanted all along.

But yeah, he's the stupid one.

Using used car salesman tactics in international politics doesn't make him look smart, that's for sure. We all see the tactic. We all know that cancelling NAFTA will result in a larger hit to the US economy than for ours, but all countries will feel it. We aren't the idiots he thinks we are.

All countries have their wants, and we all ask for the moon, in hopes of meeting somewhere in the middle.

Canada has no business lecturing Mexico and the U.S. over labour laws

The above quote seems pretty accurate to me. Nothing for righties to get their panties in a knot over.

Everything for climatological-liar-shills to worry. They had better find a hidey-hole soon.

At the end of the day, future generations are going to know who defrauded and destroyed them based on this science-fiction bullshit. "Oh, you peddled fake science just to fill your pockets at our expense???"

Not all of it is covered under NAFTA. If NAFTA is withdrawn, trade will revert to WTO rules, and a lot of products that cross the borders will get more expensive.
