Back in my day we had a 5 mile slog through the snow......uphill....

in both directions.....

You were lucky. Back in my day we had to walk five miles in snow up to your eyeballs just to get to the road. Then you had to walk another five miles up a mountain in more snow, and when you got to the Tim's they poured the boiling hot coffee into your cupped hands.

You had feet to walk? Back in my day we didn't have feet, we had to crawl, tunneling through the snow and popping up like a prairie dog every once in a while to get our bearings.
